WebWallet — Money, investments and taxes in one place

Personal finance tracking and investment portfolio analytics. Monobank sync, envelope budgeting, brokerage accounts and Ukrainian taxes.

WebWallet is a personal finance web app: you keep your accounts, transactions, budget, investments and Ukrainian taxes in one place and see reports and plans built from your own data. Signing in is needed only to work with your own data; this page and the privacy policy and terms of service are open to everyone.

Who it is for

For people who want to see all their money in one place without keeping spreadsheets by hand.

• Several banks and currencies

  Monobank and PrivatBank cards, cash, deposits, credit cards and debts, with the balance in hryvnias at the NBU rate.

• Private investors

  Brokerage accounts at Interactive Brokers and Freedom Finance, Ukrainian government bonds and other assets, with returns and allocation.

• Sole proprietors, group 3

  Business income from your accounts, the single tax, military levy and social contribution by quarter, and the declaration in the tax service format.

From everyday spending to the yearly declaration.

• Sync and import

  Monobank through its API, PrivatBank PDF statements, import of past transactions. Review and edit before importing.

• Categories without the chores

  Two-level categories, tags and payees. Payee and MCC rules learn from your corrections, duplicates are found automatically.

• Envelope budgeting

  Every hryvnia gets a job, leftovers roll over to the next month. Needs, wants and savings by the 50/30/20 rule.

• Planning

  Recurring payments in the feed, a balance forecast months ahead and savings goals linked to Monobank jars.

• Reports and analytics

  Spending by category, income and expenses, net worth over time, plan versus actual, period comparison and trends.

• Investments

  Lots by FIFO and average cost, IBKR and Freedom trade import, daily prices, TWR and MWR returns, allocation by sector.

• Taxes

  Tax on investment income with credit for foreign tax, sole proprietor taxes by quarter, rates per year and declarations as XML for the tax service.

• Privacy

  Bank tokens are encrypted in the database. No ads, analytics or third-party scripts on the pages. Sign-in with Google is used only to identify you.

The road to financial independence

Financial independence is not about a big fortune but about habits: knowing where the money goes, keeping a safety cushion and investing regularly. The hard part is that it usually takes spreadsheets, formulas and the discipline to keep them up for years.

WebWallet does the math: goals are calculated from your real spending and savings, so you see progress every month, not once a year.

• Tracking

  How much you really spend and save each month — the basis of every calculation.

• Safety cushion — FYM

  Freedom money: how many months your spare money lasts at your usual spending. The target is 6, 12 or 24 months.

• Compound interest

  The calculator shows how regular contributions grow over the years and what is left of them after inflation.

• FIRE

  The capital whose returns cover your spending forever, and when you reach it at your current pace.

Sign-in with Google

WebWallet uses Google only to sign you in: with the openid, email and profile permissions it receives your name and email address and nothing else. Google user data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to train or run AI models or to generate any content.

Source code

The code of the project is published: a Spring Boot server and a React web client. You can read it and check how your data is stored.
